Karen is a firm believer in the magic of living near the beach, in so much that she has relocated her real estate business from her hometown, Atlanta to the beautiful Emerald Coast. The only thing better than helping people buy and sell homes is those homes being near the ocean where people can experience a little of that magic.

Karen has a deep attachment to helping others find their safe haven in that special place they can call home, whether it's because of a favorite room, piece of art, comfy chair, how the sun reflects on a room, the beautiful view or that one thing that brings joy when you walk thru the door. 

Karen is a wife, mother, Mima, and the most fervent lover of the beach you will find. She loves being with her family and five grandchildren and watching them experience the joys of life. She says "they help me to keep perspective on just how simple life can be and that each day is a precious gift from the Lord." Her husband, Steve, is her best friend, and they enjoy any activity around water, taking bike rides with little Lexi, "the queenie of the house", and working together on projects. 

She is a pleaser and has been told she's a perfectionist (even though she balks at that and says "maybe just a little OCD"). Karen believes buying and selling a home should be a luxury experience, enjoyable, and smooth for every buyer and seller. 

Karen has had a very successful real estate career that started in Atlanta, Ga. in 1990 on the construction side as a builder with her husband. She began actively selling real estate in 2010 in Atlanta, GA. Her first year she was awarded "Rookie of the Year. In 2016, she earned the title as #1 Sales Team in Homes Sold for Harry Norman Realtors®. Her stellar reputation for using cutting-edge marketing platforms and her negotiation skills has made Karen a Top Producer consistently year after year.
